I really like this laptop. I did my homework before I bought it. Runs like new, Windows XP, few small, slight scratches. Good deal for the price. The seller was great as well. I think this laptop is going to be around for a good while.

Used laptop sold as refurbished one

I ordered a refurbished Dell Latitude D 630 window XP,after I opened the package ,I saw a diry used laptop. There were several big scratches on it, lots of small trash particles around the battery, indicating how long it had been used..After I turned the laptop on, a message popped up saying" the battery is charging but its approaching the end of its life" means I have to buy a battery now.When I want to shut down the laptop it takes about Five miutes to turn off. As far as I know a refurbished computer means ,a brand new laptop which had a problem and they returned it to the factory to repair/fix it. It is completely different than a used one. This computer not only isn't a refurbished one but also it is a very badly maintained used laptop.They didn't bother to place a new battery at least, they didn't even bother to clean the dirts with a piece of cloth before they send it to the customer . The price I paid for this laptop wasn't much less than a brand new one.The only star I gave to the seller was because they accepted to get it back and refund my money ,but they must know that returning an item is time consuming for the customer.
